What this site is
A short, checked list rather than an exhaustive one.
Most resort search sites will show you thousands of properties and leave you to work out which ones are actually adults-only, and which ones are worth the flight if you dive. This one does the opposite: a small number of resorts, each checked, described in plain terms, and rated on what the diving is really like.
What gets listed
Every resort here is 18+. Not “couples-focused”, not “romantic”, not “12 and over” — genuinely adults-only, verified against the resort’s own stated policy before it goes on the list.
That check removes resorts regularly. Properties widely described as adults-only in travel roundups have turned out to have kids’ clubs, or a minimum age of 12. Those do not make the list, however good they are.
How the dive ratings work
Each resort gets a rating from 1 to 5. A 5 means the diving is a reason to choose that resort over others. A 1 means there is no dive operation on site, even if good diving exists nearby.
These are editorial judgements, formed by reading what dive operators, guests and the resorts themselves say, not a measured standard. Where something specific matters — a house reef you can swim to, free certification, whether the dive boat leaves from the resort or a marina down the road — it’s written out on the resort’s page rather than compressed into the number.
How this site makes money
Some links here are affiliate links. If you book through one, this site may earn a commission from the booking provider. You pay the same price either way.
No resort pays to be listed, to be rated higher, or to be described favourably. If a resort has a weak beach, a mediocre house reef or a party crowd when you wanted quiet, that is written down — a list where everything is excellent is not useful to anyone.
What to check yourself
Prices, policies, dive inclusions and renovation schedules change, sometimes without notice. Everything here was accurate when checked, and dated where it matters, but confirm the details that would change your mind before you book.
Found something out of date or wrong? That is genuinely useful — corrections improve the list for everyone.
